Urgent Appeal
Please keep little Sam in your prayers. I recently learned that he was kicked out of his home after misplacing a phone and had been living on the streets for a month before a kind-hearted woman name Naomi took him in. When his father heard I was in town, he began searching for Sam. However, when I spoke with him, he claimed that Sam had run away and was staying with a woman who refused to let him return home. The father contacted the local police, who removed Sam from the woman’s home.
I went to the police station where Sam was being held. He told me that his father had kicked him out, telling him not to return until he found the missing phone. Sam also shared that his parents often left him alone for days without food, forcing him to beg in the streets. Eventually, Naomi found him searching for food at a garage and took him in.
The police determined that Sam had been neglected and were preparing to file charges against his father. His mother was nowhere to be found, and the best option was for him to remain with the woman who rescued him. When I visited Naomi’s home, she shared how she found Sam, took him in, and has been caring for him despite her own struggles.
I provided them with food and other assistance, but Sam still urgently needs a mattress, clothing, and other basic necessities. Ms. Naomi caring for him has proven to be more reliable than his parents, as I’ve had difficulty reaching them. She is willing to take him to medical appointments and coordinate with his parents and an uncle who is involved. If  you would like to help Sam’s urgent needs, please visit lmoius.org/donate to contribute. Little Sam is in desperate need of support.

Perkins Village Water Project-MIssion 2021-Liberia
Partnership with Restoration Baptist Church in constricting a new well for greater Monrovia!

Our Primary Goal
Four years ago, the Lord laid on my heart to help the people of Liberia. I was unsure about what he was calling me to do. After spending much time and seeking a clear direction, I was convinced that he wanted me to build wells to provide clean drinking water. The calling started with the people of Owensgrove and as the lord provided, we extended our work to other parts of Liberia. To date, we have built over 20 hands pumps that are providing safe drinking water to over 25,000 Liberians. Part of our work in Liberia has led us to build school and latrine for young children. in 2015, we constructed a 10-classroom school in Owensgrove for 200 children. We also constructed laterite in December 2019 for the children of the same school. We are currently constructing another school in Nimba County for 250 children who walked 8 miles to school every day. The primary purpose of our work is to share the gospel. In the last three years, more than 2000 villagers have accepted the gospel of Christ. Recently, we baptized 25 people in the village of Owensgrove, Liberia.
